Description: We will explore various features of LIWC, such as sentiment analysis, linguistic categories, and psychological dimensions, and practice applying these tools to real-world datasets. Additionally, there will be discussion about the implications of using LIWC in psychological research.

Activities: * Participants will examine racism in the design, purpose, learning process, and educational outcomes of AI in youth education and learning analytics through multiple modalities (e.g., video, text, pop culture). * Participants will analyze their practice and research that upholds racism * Participants work in small groups to imagine the possibility of racial liberation in youth learning in educational research.

Takeaways: Analyze racism, white privilege, power analysis, and racial equity/liberation in AI and learning analytics.

Intended Audience:
